Hello guys.

This month is a very difficult one for me to pay the server’s bill.
We had a lot of visitors on the streams last month (??!!This is not normal, so I’m currently checking if this was any kind of attacks to our streaming urls) and we’ve exceed our monthly bandwidth limit.

So, we must raise about 193$ more than the standar costs of our server.

In this case, i really need your help. And the only way is donation.

The only reason i run this site online and pay the server bill for it, it’s because i love Post Rock Music, and i want to spread it all over the audience. Believe me there is no profits for a project like this.

I will do my best to try and get some $$$ in order to pay the bills, to avoid any downtime by the host, but i also need your help if possible from your side.

Streaming server is dead…

Last night our streaming server has been ‘burned’ it’s cpu. The unit was not cooled enough, and the temperature out here was around 39′C. In order to prevent any shutdowns on the streams, i’ve disabled the temperature protection setting in bios before some months (stupid). So, the cpu got overheat (more than 100′C i believe) and pssssssttt….. It’s the main problem at Athlon Cpu’s… the temperature. Well, anyway, the main problem is that the streams are off, and i must find a way as soon as possible to find a new pc for streaming. I do not promise if this can be done in 2 or 3 days or more. I just need to clear out my pockets and see if i can afford a nice new box for this.

I hope we’ll find even a temporary solution soon and the streams will be up again…

Forum Launched!

As you can see, the site’s forum is already up. We would like to keep it simple, so we customized it a lot. I’m guess there will be some minor improvements inside, so i call it ‘beta version’. It will be nice if you tell us what kind of bugs/errors you may find, so we will correct these. That’s all for now, happy posting!

We decided to post this announcement regarding to all bands or band members that may interested to promote their work and help us inform all visitors of postrocking.com about their news. So, we encourage all of you, to not hesitate to mail to us all your band news (tour dates, changes, updates etc). We will be very happy to post all your information to our site and help you spread the word.

All you can do is send your news through our contact form, or mail your news to us by e-mail us at postrocking@gmail.com . We will recieve your band news and post them directly to the home page of postrocking.com.

You can also promote your work by sending us some tracks/samples of your band, in order to be included to our radio playlist.

Postrocking launch day!

We are pleased to announce you that our website is up! However it is still in beta version and we don’t have yet the full content ready. If you notice any bug or anything that doesn’t working properly, please inform us in order to fix it. If you belong to any band and you would like to be included to our playlist, mail us at postrocking@gmail.com. Postrocking.com will be growing up from time to time. We’re planning to set up a community forum, post hundreds of videos, and anything else that can make your visit enjoyable.

Our streams are up 24 hours a day, and serving post-rock related music.
The playlist of postrocking.com will be updated soon with new tracks and special dj programms at nights. For any playlist update, you will get informed by posts on the site.

Feel free to comment out with your suggestions, complains or anything you would like to say. We hope you’ll enjoy our music and the content of the site.
