Álfheimr is my project. My name’s Madison, and I’m currently playing out of Redding, California though my heart remains in Portland.
I started the project in 2007, and released “These Songs We Sing Will Fade to Silence” earlier this year. The album was described by Post Rock Community as like entering “a world in that everything seems to be beautiful, even the ‘ugly’ “, and called “perfect for a quiet evening alone, a long travel sitting in a lonely train or just lingering along a border of a wood on a foggy day.” (and I am very grateful for the kind words.)
I am currently working on a second album, called “The Scene of An Accident” and a third, untitled EP.
