Gaserata | Postrocking.com – Home of Post Rock music

Band comes from Rīga, Latvia and plays instrumental music since year 2004. There are sounds from funk, jazz, post and indie rock… in year 2005 Aija moved to Denmark, where she spent two years doing this and that. also Nauris moved from Latvia to England for some time, which marked end of Gaserata activities for some time…for time in spring of year 2007 when Gaserata members came back and renewed active music life. Adding new member Martins, band continues their operations in universe of sounds with fresh ideas and new senses.

Gaserata girl and boys previously played in such bands as Saare, Sirke, Baložu Pilni Pagalmi, Granātābolu Namiņš, Z.I.P. Code, Catapulta, Jaialai, To The Limit, BEWC.

In early spring of 2008 Gaserata offers it’s debut album “I Have A Lyubovnik”.

In year 2009 comes another lineup changes – with new guitarist and keyboardist. To be continued.
