New Wings for Words are a post rock band based out of Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. They want to give you goose bumps.
Having played together for several years in several bands, ‘New Wings for Words’ are a four piece post rock band looking to create beautiful, melodic post rock taking influences from a vast array of music. Michael Schooley (percussion), Stephen Schooley (Piano, Samples, Soundscapes), Justin Cober (Guitar) and Dylan Schaefer (Bass) create music that, while pleasing and relaxing to listen to, will stir up emotions and, sometimes crush you with destructive force and power. That is at least what they hope to achieve.
